I absolutely love to cook, but sometimes I get a little distracted and tend to burn things. I received the chance to review a Halogen Convection Oven and its amazing. It has a timer and helps me to remember how long each type of food cooks. Which is prefect for our household with everything that goes on day to day. Just a little helpful reminder that “Hey you have food cooking” “Ding Ding.”
My husband fell in love with this cooker, he can set it to go and come back and its done. When we received the oven he decided he was going to use it that night for dinner. We cleaned it out, took out some chicken, potatoes and onions. Of course my hubby loves corn and decided to add some corn at the end. I love the fact that it uses little or no oil and its alot healthier for my little man.
Dinner was amazing, I was worried that the food would be dried out but I was completely wrong. The chicken was juicy, the potatoes were soft and everything was cooked perfectly using the times said on the instructions. Its also helpful that the time setting are on the machine itself. I was reading through the instructions that you can cook a cake in the convection oven and that is my line of work. I own a bakery and I work as a decorator so baking cakes is perfect for me. I can’t wait for a day off so I can try it out and test out the cake settings. I will let you know how it goes when I have a few minutes to try it out.
